On its less than 100 km long path, the river has been marked with important historical events and at the same time it created a beautiful and interesting countryside. Even though it is not a very long one - its spring is under the 2000 m high peaks of the Savinja Alps and its mouth in Zidani Most where it joins the Sava river - is by all means attractive enough to be shown through the protographerÕs eye and described by a sensible observer.
